There is No God

Half of this show is watching a tiny, unfunny man in his 50's complain about his beautiful wife half his age while she uses her cleavage to try and distract you from the fact that she has no acting ability. The other half is poorly acted dialogue that would have been thrown out of any level 1 writing class.

The show borrows heavily from other, more successful, show styles without knowing what makes those shows great. We're presented with documentary style interviews that are really just there because the writers have no idea how to write dialogue or plot so they use it as a crutch. No other parts of the show hint that this is a documentary and the cinematography doesn't emulate a documentary style either. It's mostly shot like a Soap Opera.

We're also presented with some of the worst stand up I've ever seen in my life. It's just lazy, unrelatable garbage that Rob Schneider thinks others should hear because his ego is so massive he has no idea how unfunny he actually is. It doesn't help that Schneider dresses like a used car salesman from 2005 and acts like a selfish, egotistical garbage person during the entire runtime of an episode.

Nothing in this show feels "real" like the title implies, but instead feels like Rob Schneider is trying to show off how awesome he is. There are zero original, real, or funny concepts presented at any point during an episode. You will be presented with plenty of tired, lazy, and nonsensical ramblings.

I blame Adam Sandler for casting his buddy in so many of his films that Rob Schneider became a household name and millionaire. Without that money Rob would never be able to fund these insipid projects.

Bad wannabe Curb

Curb was good because the characters were at least likeable, and he wasn't putting his real wife into bizarre objectifying situations. Rob is a terrible guy, and he can't help injecting his insane ideas and views into his "work", which makes it all the worse. Never met someone past 2010 who thinks he's funny, and I can definitely see why. He clearly wanted to make his own Curb your enthusiasm but just couldn't cut it, as evidenced by the cancellation after just one season. Frankly, I don't even know how the first season got made.

Why is this show so washed out and blue? Why is it so poorly produced on top of already poorly written? Truly, this show has nothing good going for it.

Moronic trash.

People like this? Dude has been a hack for decades, licking Sandler's boots and still being incredibly unfunny, uncreative, mind numbingly stupid and straight up DUMMMMM. That's right, 5 Ms. Can't even be bothered to spell it correctly. Who likes this crap? Your life must be really lame. God help us all. Garbage.

Worst Show on Netflix

I don't know who left the other reviews, or how much Rob Schneider paid them, but this is by far the lest funny show I have ever seen. Imagine Curb your Enthusiasm meets Louie, but with out the funny parts. Its basically Rob Schneider flaunting his wealth and hot wife. Literally, every scene his wife is in is showing off her breasts.I also noticed that they seemed to increase the contrast in the whole show. All colors are incredibly, and unbelievably bright. His eyes are the bluest thing I have ever seen. It looks so fake, the script is terrible, the acting is horrendous by all parties, and to top it all off its boring. This is the worst thing that Rob Schneider has ever done, and its not like he had much going before this trash heap.

Terrible

This show is an abomination. Never a funny moment, mostly just feels weird. Like the pretend stand-up routine with the fake brick wall behind him and canned laughter. Don't watch for entertainment unless you enjoy examining and deconstructing a terrible show, because that's all you can do with it. If you look at the positive reviews, they were written around the time the show first came out. Click on the author's name and you'll find that in the 2 years since, that is the only review they've ever written. Hmmm. How curious.

Worst show on Netflix

0/10 stars. Worst acting and plot of this century. But what can you really expect from Rob Schneider?

Do not waste your time in this crap.

Garbage junk trash "show" that makes Netflix look bad.

I have recently cut the cord and Netflix is one big reason. Saying that, this awful pretense of a comedy, and "The Ranch", blindsided me when I tried to watch them. The laugh-track on "The Ranch" was so grinding that it made me feel I was watching an even worse "American Horror Story" than THAT show has been lately. But "Real Rob" has robbed me of some of my love of Netflix. Why do so many bad actors, who were born has-beens, think that shows about them are relevant and funny. "Curb your Enthusiasm", this last season, was a ghastly parody of it's original run, but made "Real Rob" seem like a failed pilot that was picked up to fill a late evening time slot opposite "Last Man on Earth", forcing the viewer to just go to bed. You wouldn't need a sleeping pill unless you watched one of them. Then you might take a lot of sleeping pills in despair. Bad "acting", poor writing and a lot of nothing adds up to an unwatchable bore fest. Why, Netflix, why is this one of your shows?

Rob Schneider, The Ambien of Comedy

Rob Schneider, in comparison, makes Paul Shore look like a comedy genius! Amazingly, with sufficient coffee to keep me from falling asleep from sheer boredom, I managed to watch the entire first season of Real Rob. There wasn't a single funny line or moment in the entire season. Rob Schneider is an arrogant, condescending has-been, who apparently thinks Hollywood has-beens are better than Real People, should have given up on comedy, and got a Real Job, a couple of decades ago. The thought that anybody would pay to see him do a stand-up comedy show, makes me question the intelligence of the entire human race, this man is just NOT FUNNY! His wife, Patricia, who is obviously an Esposa Carte Verde, although sexy and beautiful, is as talentless and unfunny as her loser husband, and the bumbling idiot who plays his "assistant" are the perfect complements to make this the worst excuse for a situation comedy, in all Netflix and television history. I can't see any reason to watch any episodes of season two, if you're looking for comedy, look somewhere else, this is absolutely not it!

Horrible

Could not watch more than the one episode. I found Rob's acting and attitude simply terrible.

Mis-categorized

Thus might have gotten a higher score if my expectations hadn't been set by it being labeled as a comedy. Yikes.

Circus colors, telegraphed lines (hate to set YOUR expectations by saying 'jokes'), terrible writing, unnatural timing and all that Trumpish Orange makeup.

We thought Sofía Vergara was a bad actress, we were wrong

Rob is a funny guy but his wife just isn't. We tolerale Sofía Vergara in modern family because everyone else is good in it but we had to sto watching g this programme because Rob's wife is embracing to watch and just not funny at all.
