I tried liking the movie. I really did. It was so silly. The characters are so shallow. Their struggles too.
Dude leaves his bride at the altar and comes back after 8 years. He is all nice and lost looking and ofcourse everyone forgives him. Turns out he didn't have any good reason to leave, cold feet is what he said.bleh.
Hallmark movie with even lesser feels than an insurance commercial. Pass this one. Also featuring eyebrows and ugly phone.

This movie is what it is. It's incredibly predictable. But what I think is really wrong with it is that the main character is truly a horrible person. The whole movie we find out example after example of how he has been terrible to the main characters but we're supposed to forgive him because he's handsome. This is also a movie dripping with the theme of forgiveness no matter what because it's the right thing to do. But forgiving this main character is just ridiculous. The girl's brother is the only realistic character in the entire film.

Weepy porn for teenage girls: (emotionally) titillating, completely unrealistic, and potentially harmful to the psyche. Oh, and the accents are offensive.

The list of stupidities in this movie are practically endless. It insults the intelligence, yet somehow people loved it. I guess, to each his own, but how can you get worked up about a story and characters that are this ridiculous in so many ways?
The screenwriters really must think we're idiots. The Liam character has no brain, no heart and no soul, yet writes heart-wrenching songs. He's a good kid but hasn't spoken to his father since he went off to become a "star." He's an idiot and a heartless idiot at that.
He leaves 20,000 fans in the lurch one night, and the next day, the magazines in his hometown all have the story on the stands. Come on!!!
I am actually in the middle of this movie right now and can't get through it. Of course, there will be a "happy ending" but not for anyone with a brain in their heads.
Over and out.

This is my shortest review ever. But the start off with the music and that style... I turned it off and the beginning of the movie... Im not a masochist. Should come with a warning "viewers advice to not watch.. country music and southern cliches up ahead".
I watch a lot of movies. A lot of different genres. I'm very open minded and sometimes things don't hit. And I won't lie. I like a lil romantic cheese fest once in a while. I've seen many cheesy rom coms or "heartfelt" movies and I cool. Feels nice to let go of expectations and standards and just turn off. This movie was so generic, boring and cringy. Borderline insulting that they would produce this. Did AI write this. No I think they would have done a better job. Just no. Avoid. I'm not a hater. I wanna save anyone between the ages of 12 and 60 an hour andb42 minutes of their lives. The actors themselves did their job. The directors and editors did not.
