Entertaining and informative

A fantastic recap of the 2001 anthrax scare and subsequent hunt for the perpetrator. Although some events are a bit out of actual chronological sequence in the depiction of the investigation, overall the series does a good job of covering the history. The fact that the lead suspect in the investigation had access to such dangerous materials despite his obvious mental problems is a scary thought in itself! If I had a criticism of the series, the "hero" Mathew Ryker is almost too good to be true, not only is he always right, he never even entertains an erroneous thought in the series. However, even if that depiction isn't quite credible, the series is not only entertaining but informative.

Edge of you seat kind of drama.

What an incredibly frightening story, the most frightening thing is how governments refuse to see the truth because of negative reactions. The story is well written, the acting is incredible, great casting. Julianna Margulies is such a talented actor. For me if she's in a movie or TV show I know it's going to be good. This series is no exception, it's riveting.

Seeing the bio hazard symbol used in movies and TV shows has almost become a cliche and it makes me wary about watching it but this is worth watching. It's exciting and scary yet by the end I wonder when governments are finally going to acknowledge we have an environmental problem here on Earth that needs to be addressed. We can't keep living the way we are or it's all going to blow up in our faces.

It was nice to see Topher Grace again even though he had a goofy haircut it helped me from seeing Eric Foreman. For me, he wasn't a very likeable character he did a good job, although it wouldn't hurt for him to take a few acting lessons. His performance in no way comes close to most of the other actors on screen.

There is some blood and gore but not too much. Because of the subject matter I would only recommend this series for a mature audience. It is well worth your time.

Serious health threat that deserves our attention and focus

I'm thankful to NG and Ridley Scott, who I deeply respect and value, for bringing this topic to our screens and minds. Actors were excellent and set up, and the idea of telling two parallel stories. It was emotionally hard to see all this human suffering caused by simple but aggressive form of life. In one hand I depict in my imagination how impressively similar is the story about alien who also carries such deadly life form, and the ebola. No wonder why Ridley put his hands on this. Second, the message in between that scenarists of this series want to bring up is the value of science. In few frames in a subtle way we get a short but powerful message of how it's important to stay to the ground and reason. Last. but not the least, yes, I had the impression at few moments how the main focus of series is how american soldiers are handling 500 sick monkeys. Like there's no anything else besides that mission, we get into the plan and protocols of entering facility and killing primates, but the fact that they empathized with these animals is a great plus. The fact that this story needs to be told, people need to be warned, and that we need to keep on helping other people, today in Africa, Democratic Republic of Kongo, makes this work complete and I give rating 10 of 10 because good acting, important message and morality deserve that.

Too many armrest critics here. I love it!

First of all, great story. One that had to be told. Great cast, right actors in the right roles. Don't listen to all the armchair critics in here. When I started watching it, I had to watch all the episodes. This one is based on a true story. Look, learn, respect what's out there!

People need to watch this "NOW."

Thank Nat Geo for this show. Because who the perpetrator turned out to be, MSM did not report much on this case. Back then, I was still kina young and naivte. Besides there weren't many ways and means to find out much on things do not fit narratives of the powers that be. I hope they will do a season on the Covid-19 EVENTUALLY. Say in 2040 or so?

This is a must watch!

This show will take you for a spin. Of all the bureaucracy that we go through trying to provide proof of what's going on in our world today. If you want to know about the history of how the attack started on America after 9/11, you should watch this.

I loved it

I had just watched Chernobyl (the highly rated show just aired not long ago) and I have to admit, I needed more...then I found this series, and it did not disappoint, although it wasn't as impactful as Chernobyl, this was definitely one worth watching. Gives u some decent background on the virus and the acting was convincing enough for me. The thing it had in common with Chernobyl is they were both equally terrifying. I hope you all enjoy!

Disappointing

This could have been good. It wasn't. In fact, barely watchable by Ep. 4. As another reviewer wrote, it insults your intelligence. One wonders if any research was done; an enlisted man calls Col. Max, Nancy. It's just so stupid and dumbed down for a Lifeline Channel audience.
