Orayiram Kinakkalal

An average one time watchable flick. Camera works, costume, ___location etc was some good quality stuff. Characterisation was fine. Some time director was out off focus and mis matched the whole jourer of the movie. Second hald was more worth watchable than first in which there was some curiosity builiding in viewers as skme character shades changes. A worthy climax. One time watchable flick if you have some spare time. I give 6/10.

Orayiram Kinakkalal is the kind of ambitious movie that expects you to tag along in its fun ride of a bunch of unscrupulous ordinary people trying to defraud money from a rich businessman and an aspiring politician (Suresh Krishna). The problem is that neither the process makes sense nor do you empathize with the characters. Biju Menon and Roshan Mathew play the leaders of this plan with support from newcomer Sharu Varghese's character, who together get in the mess that churns out twist after twist like it's an Abbas-Mustan film. It is clear that director Pramod Mohan is a creative man, for the production value and attention to details is impressive. But I am not sure if he validated the storyboard enough because he creates a plot that is hardly convincing. Menon's character is a cowardly stock trader who lies to his wife about their finances; but at two specific points in the film, he does the opposite, making wise choices and showing courage, thereby making me doubt his disposition. Mathew is perhaps the only person who puts up a good show here, maintaining his air as this sadist criminal with only money in his mind. Kalabhavan Shajon is also decent, but I sincerely hope Nirmal Palazhi shuns his Hareesh Perumana mimicking and stops fooling around. It is irritating to watch him try and fail at comedy, which aggravates your bad experience. Save for the third act in the film, there is absolutely nothing enjoyable in Orayiram Kinakkalal that has some very great amateur performances by Varghese and Sakshi Agarwal. I don't know where these new actors are coming from, and I am upset how they are lowering the total appeal of the movie. TN.

"Do good to others...and good will come back to you"...that is the theme of this flick.. All have perfectly executed their characters... Biju and Jason have been amazing as usual... 2nd half of the film is much more entertaining with unexpected twists and turns...

Worth a watch I would say!

The story revolves around few individuals who get caught up in few shady dealings. The film gets off to a slow start. However once we get into the real story, we are fully engaged to the last moment. There are lot of good laughs mixed up with the suspense. Credit to the writers for the smart script. I am surprised that the film did not get better rating. These are the kind of suspense films, that malayalam industry is lacking.

However, he was unable to maintain the financial resources required to realise his ambition of establishing a restaurant. He obtained a loan from a financial agency. This situation causes him significant difficulties. Subsequently, he encountered a male and a female, with whom he discussed the prospect of generating income. Their plan was to blackmail a prominent businessman. They devised a meticulous scheme to achieve this. However, events did not unfold as anticipated. The businessman was died in an accident. The secretary and wife of the businessman were killed. With the assistance of a police officer, they collected money and fled. They decided to divide the proceeds equally. However, the male and female accomplices had divergent intentions. They killed the police officer and defrauded Shree Ram. Nevertheless, destiny had other plans...

The film's narrative and direction are satisfactory, although some of the performances are unconvincing. Additionally, numerous implausible scenes detract from the film's overall quality. However, the musical scores are noteworthy and the film is enjoyable as a one-time watching.
