"Wednesday" Stars Tease Season 2, Share Favorite One-Liners
The sophomore season of Netflix’s hit series “Wednesday” will embrace more horror elements while maintaining its signature kooky charm, cast members revealed during interviews with IMDb at Netflix’s Tudum event in Los Angeles. “Everything from season one, but bigger, better, more cast, more everything,” shared Isaac Ordonez, who plays Pugsley Addams in the series. His co-star Fred Armisen described the upcoming season as “brand, new, retro,” noting how the show bridges contemporary and 1960s aesthetics. During the red carpet interviews at Kia Forum, Luis Guzmán, who portrays Gomez Addams, hinted at the series’ expanding scope, while Armisen teased a particularly memorable line delivery coming midseason that he called “so well written.” The cast also shared behind-the-scenes insights, with Hunter Doohan revealing that while series star Jenna Ortega “never breaks” character, improvisation flourishes on set, particularly from Armisen, who was known to spontaneously incorporate props like ketchup bottles into scenes during the first season.
