It's entertaining rubbish, this short seems like something that someone from a University class would create. The editing, directing and acting is very amateur, although the camera operator seems to have an idea of what they're doing. I knew what the end was gonna be like before I saw it because it is very reminiscent of early horror b-movies. The most jarring thing from this short is the set design as it is incredibly poor and obviously done on a very half asked low budget. Although, it's Tommy Wiseau and it's expected from anyone exploiting his talent to make an intentionally bad or cheap movie.
I'd love to see Tommy make another 'larger' budget movie and see how he fairs in the quality of it.

While the majority of fright fans tracking down this bemusingly bonkers B-comedy short will no doubt be solely doing so for the laudable lunacy of watching the deliciously skewed Teutonic Thespian Tommy Wiseau manifest his singularly bizarre approach to acting! Whimsically written and directed by Brock LaBorde & Jared Richard, this short, but perfectly formed ketchup-slathered riff on Amicus/Hammer House of Horror finds the weirdly ingenuous Alex (Tommy Wiseau) guilelessly making a Faustian pact with a magnificently Mephistophelean landlord (my favourite scene!), and not long after moving his meagre affairs into the somewhat inauspicious-looking property on 3 Blood Street, pronounced 'blued street', Alex is promptly anointed in blood spatter, while initially acting oblivious to this malign crimson leakage, his, like, totally concerned bros ardently advise the increasingly distressed Alex to Nancy Drew the cellar to see what gives, dude!...and therein lies the grisly genesis of Alex's sanguinary malaise! There's a pleasingly garish Troma Films/John Waters quality to this horror/comedy short that I found enormously appealing, and the opening scene with the landlord is entirely delicious!

Tommy Wiseau's movie "The Room" brought so much attention only because it is so bad. Now after watching " The House That Drips Blood On Alex" I see a bright future for Tommy in kitsch and schlock business. I think after "The Room" Tommy realized that his has talent for crap , but entertaining crap. This short has it all for Tommy "fans" his catchphrase "oh hi", acting on par with his masterpiece I mentioned earlier. Movies like these should continue to emerge. As long as they are entertaining. I recommend this short movie for viewers that know how to appreciate crap. I wish you good luck Tommy! I hope to see that in the future you will make another feature movie.
Let's face it: Tommy Wiseau is a peculiar genius. Any movie done by him so far is a gold mine, with thousands of fans watching them.
The House that Drips Blood on Alex is a short horror movie that can and should be cataloged as kitsch. Over the top acting, comic scenes along with a dark plot makes this movie a new pearl that is a must for any fan of Wiseau.
Oh, and the plot twist at the ending was brilliant; you cannot deny it.

After The Room became popular in 2009-2010, Tommy Wiseau got lots of publicity and everyone praised him for his genius. However, I had always suspected that he really wanted 'The Room' to be a drama, but then changed it to black comedy because of the reception(Smart move, Tommy). This movie proves that he has no idea what he is doing. This is him trying to redo the amazing one-off he achieved with 'The Room'. The House That Drips Blood On Alex ends up becoming a forced piece of unfunny black comedy. You can almost feel the bad humor being forced on the movie. 3/10 because it is slightly entertaining, but only because of the extreme bizarre choices Tommy Wiseau has made with this. It makes no sense, and the twist at the end is actually pretty hilarious because it comes out of nowhere. That's why it gets a 3/10. Tommy Wiseau has shown how much of a talentless hack he is.
