WATCHHHHH!! Reviews are subjective, I typically don't listen to other's reviews if I want to see something. I'm so glad I didn't listen...this series is effortlessly acted & written the actors are PERFECT. It's been a long time since I've been transported to another realm & didn't realize it. I'd feel like a sell out if I didn't mention that this is the first series where I didn't feel like they just threw a Black person in for a quota, I actually didn't notice race in a world that's obsessed with it. I just enjoyed the storyline and rift's the cinema magic. You owe it to yourself to be entertained PEOPLE!!!
Still working my way through the dramatization, and rereading the graphic novels just prior. The voice actors, sound editors and other production specialists have done a fantastic job of bringing Gaiman's masterpiece to life. After years of production hell of attempts to turn the series into a movie or television show, it appears they've finally found the ideal medium.
I do recommend that people read the series prior to listening though, less the frequent scene and character shifts confuse anybody unfamiliar with the story.

As an old Gaiman fan, I was hopeful about this audio book and it is so far way better than I've hoped for.
I've first read the Sandman graphic novels many years ago (around 2003-4) and was falling in love with it and its creator. Hearing this audio book is as colorful and amazing as the original graphic masterpiece, and it stands as a masterpiece of its own.
The narration by Neil himself, the sound acting by the cast, the picturesque descriptions of the scenes - all are executed in such perfection that this is, in my eyes, an amazing introduction into the world of the Endless ones.
Thank you Neil, again, for such a wonderful gift.

This audio book series I guess you could call it was breathtaking. The way that each and every character had a nuance to them and development was breathtaking. I could not stop listening and falling deep in the stories and the beauty of them all 10 out of 10 would deff recommend.
