I thought that the first season was decent, it moved along quickly and the storyline was interesting, the Flynns are what made it though, Tommy Flanagan is a great villian and actor, lilly simmons as well, but I started disliking Tommy, the guy who plays him is not a good actor at all, the 2nd season is horrible, tommys annoying anymore, its unbelievable that he could singlehandedly take over the chicago drug trade, just like that, and u gotta love the broad daylight, on the street shoot outs, then theres the annoying chick he hooks up with per usual, the brother/mother/nephew storyline is beyond stupid and weak, the acting is horrible from the brother and nephew, some of the worst and not even the Flynns can save this season, cause they have became unlikeable & redundit as well. Boring, a bunch of talk and drug dealing and talk ect ect..nothing that matters, noone to root for!

First episode was interesting and I thought that maybe I had finally found something decent to watch, but half way through episode 2, I started to lose interest pretty quickly, there is no character development, how can we care about what happens to any one of the characters, when we dont know much about them, I feel like they could have cast someone better for the lead, the character has no charisma or much of a personality, so its hard to like her, I feel like every character in this was unlikeable, therefore the show became uninteresting & hard to continue, the writing is very bad as well, its too slow and boring for me, storys been done a million times before as well, but better! Octiviia Spencer or whatever, is not a great actress, ive only seen her in a couple things and dont like her!

I really liked season 1,2 and 3 of Oz, but it's portrayal of the prison system,is highly inacurate, I know, cause unfortunately I was locked up back then in the 90s. I can deal with some inaccuracies, it is fiction, but there's just too many to list, but I'll try to list some. First off, prisoners dont wear their street clothes ,they have to wear prison uniforms, 2nd, they are not allowed to wander around freely, like they do in Oz, they are also not aloud to make out with their gf's or wives in visitation. Their is no where near that amount of death in prison, Oz got at least one or more deaths a day, everyone who works there is highly incompetent and should have lost there jobs by the 3rd season. I am on season 4. I will finish cause there is extemely well Character development and I have time invested in more than a couple prisoners, and it's 2023 there's little to watch that's even half as good, it is a good show, just very inaccurate, u have to laugh at it!
